Oui, j’ai appris cette nouvelle ce matin dans Twitter! C’est effectivement interessant, mais ca ne résout par le besoin de savoir qui dans mon réseau LinkedIn a un compte Twitter.

Ca serait super bien d’avoir un champs “compte twitter” que l’on puisse mettre à jours dans notre profile Twitter.

Bonjour ! Je m’occupe de la communication de LinkedIn en France, et fais suite à cet article car LinkedIn vient d’annoncer un partenariat avec Tweeter. Ce n’est pas tout à fait le même sujet mais tweets & status LinkedIn peuvent désormais être synchronisés. Le service vient d’être lancé aux US, il devrait être disponible rapidement en France. Just finished using your instructions, TY Apart from a minor hitch reassembling the ball housing – fortunately I guessed right which way the little square box went – I am now the happy owner of a free-scrolling mouse!
And yes, my “downward” scrolling wheel was gunked up.

Do you use Capistrano? I remember having problems putting SOLR in background (capistrano would not stop).

If so, here’s the command I have in my recipe to start SOLR in brackground:

run “cd #{current_path} && nohup rake solr:start RAILS_ENV=#{rails_env} > log/solr.log 2> log/solr.err.log”

I also changed the SOLR rake file (plugins/acts_as_solr/lib/tasks/solr.rake) to not send the STDOUT and STEDERR to log files (just remove the redirections in the exec statement). My capistrano command takes care of redirecting those outputs to the log files.

Maybe this will help.
